In many parts of Maasailand, conversations around sexual and reproductive health are still taboo. This silence leads to preventable maternal deaths, teen pregnancies, and school dropouts. Through Biotisho Eishoi™, we’re creating a different future, one where young people and women have accurate information, access to care, and the agency to make informed choices about their bodies and futures.
We work directly with schools, health facilities, and community groups to deliver comprehensive SRHR education. We distribute menstrual hygiene kits to girls, keeping them in school and giving them dignity. Our awareness campaigns on teen pregnancy, consent, and safe motherhood are building more inclusive conversations across generations. We also provide support for young mothers – offering mentorship and pathways back to school. Through advocacy, education, and access, we are changing not just behaviors, but belief systems.

Providing adolescent girls with sanitary kits and menstrual health education to improve school attendance and personal dignity.

Educating girls, boys, and adults on sexual and reproductive health rights to support informed, safe, and respectful decision-making.

Running awareness campaigns to reduce teenage pregnancies and offering mentorship and re-enrollment pathways for young mothers.

Promoting antenatal, childbirth, and postnatal care to reduce preventable maternal deaths and improve overall health outcomes.

Creating safe spaces for intergenerational conversations around sexual health, breaking taboos, and encouraging inclusive understanding.
Patinaai Osim is what Maasai women call someone who brings them joy. That’s what we aim to be for our communities.
